In September 2023, Dream Engine was contracted by AUSactive – Australia’s peak body for the exercise and active health sector for a hybrid event for the annual awards program. The AUSactive National Awards Program consists of a series of state-based events showcasing state finalists for the majority of categories and state winners. Their National Gala event was held at Zinc Federation Square in Melbourne.
Being a national organisation with members across Australia, some were not able to travel to Melbourne to attend the awards ceremony. As well as that, tickets for the event sold out. Which made having online coverage of the event essential.

How to make a great Hybrid Event Video Production
1. Invest plenty of time in planning: We work through the schedule in detail with our clients prior to the event to get a clear picture of exactly what will be happening on the day, who needs a microphone on and when etc. It’s vital to make sure everyone is on the same page so there are no surprises.
